The Sea Lord's Runaway Wife

Five years ago, marine research director Yelena took a fatal blast meant for mermaid prince Austin and pretended to abandon him in order to protect his life. When they meet again, Yelena has become a pawn in an arranged marriage, while Austin has returned as both a mysterious tycoon and the Lord of the Deep Sea. Believing she betrayed him, he pursues her with vengeance and possessive determination. Yelena keeps the truth hidden until a conservative mermaid elder launches a rebellion and she once again shields Austin, exposing the old scar that proves her sacrifice. Devastated by the truth, Austin begs forgiveness. Together they restore the Heart of the Abyss, and Yelena transforms into a silver-tailed mermaid queen who shares the throne with him.
