The General Trapped in the Puppeteer’s Web

Luo Nan, a defeated general falsely framed as the "White Tower Butcher", was taken as a spoil of war by Serafina Thorpe, a genius dollmaker who hated him to the bone, before his execution, and was resurrected with a white porcelain heart. One feigns submission to seek vindication, while the other masks revenge as possession. As they investigate the truth behind the White Tower, they constantly exploit, test and protect each other, only to discover that the enemy they both detest has always been one and the same.
