Synopsis
Teskatili, the meritorious Jaguar-Eagle commander, was framed, labeled a heretic and sent to the altar for live sacrifice. He escaped death thanks to kind men’s help. Under alias Chimalpopoca, he lurks in the Great Temple as a low porter. With an obsidian eagle badge on his chest as a death mark, he settles scores with all past wrongdoers one by one. Meanwhile, he delivers tampered real calendars to tribes through tribute jars to wake enslaved people and clans. At the hundred-person sacrifice ceremony, he publicly unveils theocratic lies, overthrows priest tyranny, abolishes human sacrifice and returns calendars to all folk.
